Thank you to all!
The conference is over, and was a great weekend for all.  Seems like everyone I talk to found something to love there - whether it was a talk by Jon Young, or the amazing Carnival of Nightmares that the teens put on, or one of the many, many fabulous workshops attended.   We also were extremely lucky to have a relatively cool weekend weather  – at least for the Sacramento area!

It takes so many people to make our conference the biggest and the best!  I want to extend my sincerest thanks to all of our conference staff members – you are all so great at your respective jobs – which in turn, makes mine much easier and lots of fun!  Thank you also to the TCC, who again showed a great deal of teamwork and imagination in creating the teen portion of our conference!  Thanks to our many wonderful speakers – the people we come to see, the people whose presentations inspire and sustain us for the year  – you are a crucial component of our event!  Next, thank you to our exhibitors and vendors!  You brought us some incredible and unique items to help in our homeschooling lives!   We are also grateful for the Radisson Hotel Staff, who are so very patient with our many children, wandering teens, our group’s lack of shoes, our impromptu jam sessions and games in the lobby, water play in the courtyard and more!  And finally, a great big thanks to our members and attendees!  We put on this conference for YOU!

Conference Program Booklet and more news

Our program has gone to print!  I thought you might like a chance to view the full program at your leisure before your get to the conference, so you can now download a pdf of it here on the website.  It's a little different than other years, and hopefully you'll find it easy to navigate!

Unfortunately, we have received news that our featured speaker, Mark Schlicting is ill and will not be able to make it to the conference this year.  We hope he will be well soon!

On the up side, we will again be treated to performances on Friday night by Sean and Prisna of FlowToys! They will also do several poi and staff spinning workshops, as well as flow wand again!  And..James Cubbage and Cheri Kannar have offered to add a workshop where you can create your own lightweight practice poi!  This will be added on Saturday at 9am in the Grove!

Hope to see all of you there this weekend!

Conference is this week!

Are you excited yet?  I sure am!  The conference is only 5 days away, and it's going to be GREAT!

I just finished posting the absolute, final conference schedule!  We've been busy adding some wonderful new sessions and events!  I hope to also have a pdf version of our big conference brochure, jam packed with all the information you could possbily need to know about the conference!  It's pretty big, so you may not want to print it, but at least you can peruse the info at your leisure BEFORE you arrive at the conference!
