Moon Madness - Thursday Night
Since we’re doing all things solar on Sunday, we figured it could be fun to give the moon some equal time! Come
gather together under the light of the moon in the Grove on Thursday night from 7 to 10 p.m. to celebrate the opening
of our 19th annual conference.
Go wild and crazy and wear your most outrageous and fun clothes in blue, silver
and white. Or, dress like an astronaut, werewolf, wizard, or in whatever moon-themed costume you can think of!
Howl
(and dance) to the tunes of DJ music - moon-themed of course!
While cheese might be a good theme for food at a
moon party – we thought you’d prefer ice cream instead! We’ll have a variety of ice cream treats available
for $2 each
We also thought it might be fun to do a drum circle at our moon party! Bring your own rhythm instrument.
Don’t have a shaker, drum, tambourine or maracas? We will have a few to borrow. We will also have supplies available
to make some simple instruments. We could use a drum leader too – so if that’s something you’d like to do,
just let us know!
