Speaker Proposal Deadline - March 31, 2013.

We are always looking for interesting and engaging speakers to help us offer over 150 homeschooling and activity related workshops.  Workshops that have not been presented at our conference before will be preferred to those presented in previous years.

When you fill out your proposal forms, please be thorough - this information will be used directly from the database to populate this website, contracts, mobile apps and printed materials.  Please don't make us have to edit - check your spelling and grammar before you send!  Also, please keep your Bio short and sweet - we want to know who you are, but we don't need a full CV!  About 200 characters or 3-4 sentences should do the trick.  If we need to know more about you, we'll ask!   On the other hand, please be descriptive with your workshop descriptions, let us know who your audience is, what you're offering and what people should bring (if anything).  Also be thorough about your supply and AV needs so we can make good decisions when reviewing proposals. 

HSC offers compensation of a discounted registration of $50 for presenting one workshop and a discounted registration of $0 for 2 or more workshops.  Compensation is for one speaker per workshop.  Compensation for second or multiple presenters for the same workshop will be at the discretion of HSC and will be determined on a case by case basis.  Parents assisting child presenters will not be discounted.  

We will be reviewing proposals as they arrive and notifying speakers after March 31.  Thank you again for your proposals!
